The Congregation of the Resurrection is a religious community of priests, permanent deacons and brothers serving in parishes and institutes in the following countries of the world: Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Tanzania, the Ukraine and the United States.
From 26 to 28 November, the 104th Assembly of the Union of Superiors General (USG) is taking place, with Fr. Evandro Miranda Rosa CR also in attendance. The theme of the winter meeting, which brings together approximately 160 participants, is: “Connected Faith: Experiencing Prayer in the Digital Age…
“Passing Through the Dark Valley – A Time for Pruning the Vineyard” is the theme of the 24th Provincial Chapter of the Resurrectionists, taking place from 14 to 22 November in the seaside village of Dębki near Krokowa, in the Pomeranian region of Gdańsk.
On October 8, the South American Region of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ joyfully presented the Portuguese edition of The Interior Life by Fr. Piotr Semenenko, CR—co-founder of the Congregation—now appearing for the first time in Portuguese.
Within the grounds of the monastery on Via San Sebastianello in Rome, a small museum has been established which houses precious relics and mementos connected with the Founders of the Congregation of the Resurrectionists: Bogdan Jański (1807–1840), Fr. Piotr Semenenko (1804–1886), Hieronim Kajsiewicz (1812–1873), Fr. Aleksander Jełowiecki (1804–1877), as well as memorabilia of the sisters Celina and Jadwiga Borzęcka.
