The Congregation of the Resurrection is a religious community of priests, permanent deacons and brothers serving in parishes and institutes in the following countries of the world: Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Tanzania, the Ukraine and the United States.
On February 17, 2026, we celebrated the 190th anniversary of the birth of our community. On this occasion, the Superior General, Father Evandro Miranda Rosa, CR, addressed a commemorative letter to all Resurrectionists, which is presented below.
From 26 to 28 November, the 104th Assembly of the Union of Superiors General (USG) is taking place, with Fr. Evandro Miranda Rosa CR also in attendance. Within the grounds of the monastery on Via San Sebastianello in Rome, a small museum has been established which houses precious relics and mementos connected with the Founders of the Congregation of the Resurrectionists: Bogdan Jański (1807–1840), Fr. Piotr Semenenko (1804–1886), Hieronim Kajsiewicz (1812–1873), Fr. Aleksander Jełowiecki (1804–1877), as well as memorabilia of the sisters Celina and Jadwiga Borzęcka.
