On the eve of the Ascension of the Lord, May 27, at the church on Łobzowska Street, the Resurrectionists celebrated the 130th anniversary of the church's dedication and the establishment of the religious house, the 110th anniversary of the death of Father Leon Zbyszewski, the builder of the temple, as well as the 50th anniversary of the transfer of the earthly remains of the Servant of God Father Paweł Smolikowski CR to the church vestibule. The celebrations began at 6:30 PM with a lecture by Father Maciej Gawlik CR, who recalled the history of the Resurrectionists' arrival in Krakow, the construction of the temple, and the names of benefactors. It was, among other things, in their intention that the Holy Mass was celebrated, presided over by Bishop Wiesław Śpiewak CR, with a homily delivered by Father Bernard Hylla CR, the General Superior of the Congregation. It was concelebrated by Father Krzysztof Swół, the Provincial Superior, and a large group of Resurrectionists. The liturgy was attended by representatives of male and female religious congregations and laypeople associated with this first church in Krakow dedicated to the mystery of the Resurrection of Christ. Thanks to the efforts of Father Wojciech Pełka CR, the rector and superior of the House, the church is becoming more beautiful and returning to its original decor. The ceremony concluded with a gathering in the monastery garden with drinks and a glass of wine.
