On February 17, 2026, we celebrated the 190th anniversary of the birth of our community. On this occasion, the Superior General, Father Evandro Miranda Rosa, CR, addressed a commemorative letter to all Resurrectionists, which is presented below.

The Superior General also inaugurated a special Jubilee Year dedicated to the Venerable Servant of God, Father Paweł Smolikowski, CR, on the centenary of his death, which falls on September 11 of this year.

This year’s anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of the Resurrection became an opportunity for celebration at the General House, gathering Resurrectionists as well as invited guests—both religious and lay. A special conference entitled “The Dark Night of the soul of Bogdan Jański” and a homily on Father Paweł Smolikowski were delivered by the Vice Postulator General, Father Artur Kardaś, CR. In his reflections, he encouraged prayer through the intercession of our Servants of God for all those in need of miracles and graces, and for the evangelical model of Christian life that leads to heaven.
