On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, during the afternoon session, the Chapter Fathers elected the board of the USA Province. Father Gene Szarek CR was re-elected as Provincial for a third term. Father Gary Hogan CR was elected as Provincial Vicar, and Fathers Steven Bartczyszyn CR, Steven Thoma CR, and Paul Sims CR were elected as Provincial Councilors. On the same day, the Superior General, Father Bernard Hylla CR, along with the General Council, approved the election of Father Gene Szarek for a third term in this office. May the Risen Lord grant strength and bless the new Board in fulfilling their service of authority for the good of the Congregation and the Church.
