On Sunday, September 18, 2016, two Resurrectionists from the Polish Province - Marcin Klimaszewski CR and Daniel Szkubera CR, received diaconate ordination. It was conferred by Bishop Wiesław Śpiewak CR, the ordinary of the Diocese of Hamilton in Bermuda. Over thirty Resurrectionists participated in the ceremony. Among those present were Provincial Father Krzysztof Swół CR, Rector Father Damian Stachowiak CR, and Father James Gibson CR, the General Secretary from Rome, representing the General Curia.

Also attending the ceremony were the parents and family of the Deacons, Fr. Krzysztof Szkubera CR, who is the younger brother of Deacon Daniel, and friends from Poland and Italy. In his homily, Bishop Śpiewak referred to the promises the candidates for ordination publicly made: to serve in the spirit of humble love, to proclaim faith in word and deed, to deepen the spirit of prayer, and to shape their lives in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
