At the conclusion of the canonical visitation conducted by the Father General together with the Provincial Fathers and the Economist, the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Bulgarian Mission took place on June 29 in Burgas. On Saturday morning, the faithful from our three parishes in Burgas, Varna, and Malko Tyrnovo gathered at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The solemn Eastern Rite Liturgy was presided over by Archimandrite Father Roman Kotewicz CR, assisted by Fathers Bernard Hylli, Wiesław Śpiewak, Adam Ferenc, Jacek Wójcik, Michał Szlachciak, Wojciech Faron, and Marcin Ćwiek. After the Eucharist, all participants were invited to a reception. Father Michał prepared an exhibition showcasing the history of the Mission and the activities of the Resurrectionists in Bulgaria. Meanwhile, on Sunday, the parish community in Varna celebrated Father Jacek's belated birthday.
