The task entitled "Museum at the Resurrectionists' Monastery in Rome" is of an investment nature, primarily aimed at adequately preparing the museum's premises of the General House of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Rome in terms of quality and functionality. The museum in the renovated space focuses on the exhibition of the history of the General House of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and its role in nurturing Polish national and cultural values abroad, as well as the fate of representatives of Polish culture during the Great Emigration. It presents the history and monuments and values of cultural heritage (including paintings, church apparatus, books) related to the activities of the Congregation of the Resurrection.
The project fulfills the following statutory goals of the Polish National Foundation:
a) supporting activities in the field of culture and education
b) maintaining and disseminating national traditions, nurturing Polishness, and developing national, civic, and cultural awareness
c) disseminating knowledge about the history of the Republic of Poland at home and abroad
d) shaping and promoting patriotic attitudes
e) promoting the Republic of Poland abroad
f) protecting and promoting cultural goods and national heritage
g) promoting the Polish diaspora and Poles abroad.
