On June 28, Fr. Evandro Miranda Rosa CR from the South American Region was elected as the new Superior General of the Congregation of the Resurrectionists. He is the first Brazilian Superior General. Father General served as the Vicar General, Procurator, and General Treasurer until his election.

Subsequently, in the following sessions, the General Chapter elected the General Councilors: Fr. Robert Rapińczuk CR from the Polish Province was elected as the Vicar General, and the General Councilors Fathers Andrzej Gieniusz CR (I) from the Polish Province and Krzysztof Swół CR from the Polish Province (II).
