On Sunday, January 26, during the evening Mass, Bishop Mauro Parmeggiani entrusted the pastoral care of the parish of Santa Maria della Fiducia and St. Bernardine of Siena to the Polish Province of the Resurrectionists and formally introduced Father Adam Otrębski as the parish priest. He also introduced the vicars: Father Marcin Paca and Father Lucjan Bartkowiak. The newly assumed parish, located in the center of Tivoli, in the Braschi district, consists of two pastoral centers merged into one administrative unit in 2009. The Mass, concelebrated by fifteen priests (including the Father General and the Father Provincial), was held in the gymnasium next to the parish church due to the large number of faithful. In his homily, Bishop Mauro recalled, among other things, the priestly path of our three Brothers. After the Mass, all participants of the ceremony were invited to a modest refreshment (rinfresco). This week, our Brothers will leave the rectory in Sant’Angelo Romano, thus concluding their pastoral work in that parish.
