In the last three years, for the second time in a row, we experienced our retreat at the "Emaus" Center in Mszana G. Although the management of this house has changed, the good atmosphere and immense kindness remain "daily bread" for the Brothers serving in this charming (especially in autumn) place. For many years - during these days - fantastic weather! Actually, always.
Ten brothers from five communities came: from Poznań W., Warsaw, Bytom, Kraków WD, and Kraków CR. Special gratitude to God for the revived Bytom community. Bytom is the cradle of the revived Community of External Brothers. There was a period of flourishing of this community in the NSPJ parish. After the Resurrectionists left this parish, the community "fell apart." Thanks to the lay and clerical brothers, it began to live again, and we hope it will continue to develop. There are currently 5 of them, and they have 2 candidates. The other brothers were very pleased with the presence of "our fantastic, witty Silesians" at this series of retreats!
The retreats in Mszana, due to the smaller number of participants, take place in a very family-like atmosphere. We especially recommend this series to brothers from the south of Poland. (bz)
