On the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity, June 11, 2017, the 33rd General Chapter of the Congregation of the Resurrection began. The solemn opening was conducted by the Superior General during the morning Lauds. Sunday was a day of prayer and reflection. The day of reflection for its participants was led by Fr. Jacob Nampudakam SAC, the Rector General of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate. He presided over the Eucharist, delivered the homily, and gave two conferences. The Chapter is held at the General House of the Resurrectionists in Rome. The reporting phase has been ongoing since Monday. After its conclusion, the Delegates will begin working in chapter committees.
