February 17 is a day of thanksgiving prayer for the Resurrectionists scattered around the world, celebrating the gift of the community's founding and a feast observed together with all those who participate in the Resurrectionist mission and charism. In the parish church of St. Michael the Archangel in La Paz (Bolivia), adults, youth, and children gathered in large numbers to celebrate the 'birthday' of the Resurrectionists with their pastors. The celebrations were attended by Fr. Bernard Hylla, the Superior General of the Congregation, who delivered a special homily. The Mass was presided over by Fr. Sławek Siemieniec, the house superior, and concelebrated by Fathers Grzegorz Stachowiak and Zbigniew Skóra. After the Mass, a ceremonial dinner took place with the Oblate Fathers of St. Joseph and several friends of the House. The Resurrectionists have been working in Bolivia since 1958 in two dioceses: La Paz and Santa Cruz della Sierra.
