On Saturday, June 17, the Chapter Fathers had a unique opportunity to visit the Redemptoris Mater Chapel and the Pauline Chapel in the Apostolic Palace. Thanks to the rich commentary by Father Lucjan Bartkowiak, centered on the Paschal mystery, the visit also became a spiritual event. On Sunday evening, some Delegates participated in the Corpus Christi celebrations and the traditional procession led by Pope Francis.
From Monday, the Chapter continued its work in committees: spirituality, community and governance, apostolate and economic, preparing material for the first stage, during which proposals are discussed and a preliminary vote is taken for acceptance or rejection. On Thursday, June 22, in the morning, the chapter committees finalized the versions of proposals, appeals, and encouragements, which were then presented for final voting. Among other things, numerous proposals for amendments to the Constitution and the General Directory of Temporal Goods were adopted. On Friday, June 23, the drafting of the Chapter's final document began.
The central moments of the Chapter are undoubtedly the daily Eucharist, celebrated in various languages, attended by all Chapter Fathers, including secretaries and translators, as well as communal prayer.
