In Poland, we are experiencing the World Youth Days, while in distant Tanzania, our Missionaries are leading the construction of a formation house for seminarians in Morogoro and living the celebration of religious vows, which will take place on August 15, 2016.
While Father Daniel Hinc promotes the Mission and preaches in Poland, and Father Andrzej Duda "polishes" the youth in the last month of the Novitiate, Father Maciej Braun moves between the parish in Buhemba and Morogoro (about 800 km), overseeing the construction of the formation house. And indeed, "the walls are rising." The work on the seminary chapel is progressing the fastest, where the first Holy Mass was celebrated last Sunday. Our workers and the Sisters of the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, whose convent is adjacent to our property, participated in it. During the Holy Mass, Father Maciej also blessed the construction site. Today, however, work began on digging the well and covering the roof with metal sheets. However, they were interrupted due to heavy rain. Meanwhile, a beautiful colorful rainbow, which in the Bible is a sign of the history of salvation and covenant, was a delight to the eye.
We trust that by the end of September, our clerics and postulants who will study in Morogoro will reside in the new building. May God abundantly reward all who spiritually and materially support this work!
