Intention for today
That a frequent encounter with the Risen Christ in the Sacrament of Reconciliation may form an essential part of our liturgical prayer because it is here that we acknowledge our complete dependence upon Him and receive the power to die to sin and to become conformed to Him. (Art.58)
Prayer of intercesion: We pray for
For our parents and benefactors, living and deceased.
For an end to terrorism and violence in the world.
For the needs of our Church and the Congregation of the Resurrection.
Words of the Founder
...beginning with today's feast of divine love as manifested to us in Christ the Lord, permit me to live a new life, completely inspired by unlimited love for you, O Lord, for your commandments, and for perfection! (La Trappe, 6/13/1839)
