1 / August That in our local communities faith may be expressed and developed as members share their Christian values, celebrate the Eucharist together and pray together. (Art. 135) For the conversion of sinners, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For vocations to our Congregation. For those who were our Formators, living and deceased.
2 / August That in our local communities hope may be expressed and developed when members share one another's sorrows and joys and when they encourage and support one another in pursuit of their spiritual and apostolic goals (Art. 135) For members of our families and benefactors, living and deceased. For him who will die first among us. For a deeper understanding of the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.  
3 / August That in our local communities love may be expressed by the efforts of members to bring the care, compassion and forgiveness of Christ to one another and by their efforts to become signs of the unrestricted quality of His love, by the sincere manifestation of their love for all of the religious with whom they have been asked to share their lives in this particular local community. (Art. 135) For fidelity to our Charism and religious vows and for the spirit of the resurrection. That the Risen Lord bless us with vocations to carry on His ministry. For safety during this summer season.  

 
4 / August That local communities may give witness to the presence of the Spirit as the bond of love among the religious by the fact that relationships are based upon openness, trust, understanding and acceptance. (Art. 136) For the Church, the Holy Father and our local Ordinary. For further growth in the prayer life of the entire Congregation. For blessing upon our pastors and parochial vicars.  

 
5 / August That through the power of the Spirit the religious may become visible signs that it is possible to live together in love, guided by Gospel principles. (Art. 136) For our Congregation, our Superiors, especially our local Superior, and for vocations to our Congregation. For the sick, and for those who suffer the weakness of old age. For an end to terrorism and violence in the world.  
6 / August That our community life may serve as a model for other Christian communities which result from apostolic efforts, and these in turn may serve as models for other similar com­munities within the local Church. (Art. 136) For our country, and for civil authority on the local and national level. That through the intercession of St. Cajetan, the Congregation of the Resurrection may be blessed with vocations. For those who have left our Congregation.  

 
7 / August That Bogdan Jański's vision of communities where the truth that was revealed by Jesus is lived out in love may lead to the establishment of vital and highly visible local communities as an essential element of the Congregation's Mission. (Art. 137) For our parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For broken families, that God may grant the strength to forgive and be reconciled. For Pastors, Superiors and provincial leaders.  
8 / August That the religious be convinced that the time and energy required to establish vital Christian communities in local houses does not deprive the apostolate of its fruitfulness; on the contrary, this expenditure of time and energy is an expres­sion of that apostolate. (Art. 137) For the grace to imitate our Founders, and for fidelity to our Charism. For blessing on all Resurrectionists and those they touch by their ministry. For the spirit of hope and renewal.  

 
9 / August That each House may pursue its spiritual program and apostolic mission on the basis of local decisions, but always in accord with the spirit of the Congregation, prescriptions of the Constitutions, and Provincial and Regional Statutes - something which calls for leadership on the part of the local Superior, even while stressing the observance of a collegial spirit. (Art. 138) For all of our brothers in the missions: Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria and Tanzania. For blessing on all of our ministries. For our elderly brothers and especially for those who are sick at this time.  

 
10 / August That the local community meeting may be an important element in the life of each community, since at such meetings the religious evaluate their life and mission in the light of the Gospel, of the Charism of the Congrega­tion and the signs of the times. 11 / August That, at local community meetings, we may support, encourage and affirm each other and call each other to conversion through a more faithful response to the values of Jesus. (Art. 139) For our deceased brothers and benefactors, for the souls in purgatory, and for him who will die first among us. For the retired members. For healing of memories for those who have been abused at home or in the Church.  

 
12 / August That we may be convinced: When we trust one another enough to speak the truth in love, the tensions which arise out of our daily living situation are reduced or eliminated through the experience of reconciliation. (Art. 139) For increased fidelity to our religious vows, and for the spirit of resurrection. For the deceased parents, relatives and friends. For the safety of those traveling this summer.  
13 / August That each local House may establish a degree of order - by setting aside times for prayer, meals, relaxation, celebra­tion and silence - to be carried out in an atmosphere of ease and flexibility, while maintaining a balance between the needs of community life and legitimate personal needs (Art. 140) That we may honor Mary in Her Assumption by some form of mortification this day. 14 / August That Mary, who in Her Assumption was raised up to share in the risen life of Jesus, may be our model of all that we are called to be and do as Resurrectionists, so that we may share Her new life in the Spirit. (Art. 8) For the Church, our Holy Father and for our local Ordinary. For a deeper devotion to Our Lady.  

 
15 / August That hospitality for guests may be an important value and a way of giving witness to Christian community living; that it may be carried out in a spirit of cordiality and, at the same time, in a spirit of prudence and sen­sitivity to the needs of the religious in order to maintain a degree of silence and privacy allowing for areas strictly reserved for the religious. (Art. 141) For our Congregation, our Superiors, and for vocations to our Congregation. For all the members of the Ontario-Kentucky Province. For all those who have recommended themselves to our prayers.  

 
16 / August That the ill and the aged may enjoy a special claim on personal and communal concerns; that the aged may always be accorded the gratitude, respect and care they deserve (Art. 142) For our country, and for civil authority on the local and national level. 17 / August That the religious formation of members of the Congregation may always develop along the lines established by the Church, with great concern for the suitable human, spiritual, doctrinal, pastoral and professional development of the religio­us. (Art. 148) For our parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all of those who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For all of those who assist us in our apostolates, and for those to whom we minister. For all the members of the Polish Province.
18 / August That the religious formation of members of the Congregation may place a strong emphasis on preserving the spirit of the Founders together with a better understanding of the Charism and Mission of the Congregation. (Art. 148) For the grace to imitate our Founders, and for fidelity to our Charism. For all of our brothers in the missions: Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria and Tanzania. For all the members of the USA Province.
19 / August That we may continue our response to the call of Christ personally to imitate His life of chastity, poverty and obedience by a life lived in the Congregation. (Art. 149) For the conversion of sinner, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For our novices and seminarians, and for the various programs of ongoing formation. For the members of our Generalate.  
20 / August That Formators may help those who enter religious life to understand the nature, the dignity and the importance of the call of the Lord, to identify and confirm its presence. (Art. 149) For our deceased brothers and benefactors, for the souls in purgatory, and for him who will die first among us. For God's blessing on the people of St. Pius X Parish in Lombard, Illinois. For students, teachers and leaders preparing for the new school year.  
21 / August That we may often recall the words of Jesus: "It was not you who chose me, it was I who chose you" (John 15:16). (Art. 149) For fidelity to our Charism and our religious vows, and for the spirit of the resurrection. For vocations, especially to our Congregation. For our seminarians, novices, affiliates and aspirants.
22 / August That we may see clearly that every call of Christ is first of all a call to personal holiness, and that religious profession contributes to an intimate, personal union with the Triune God. (Art. 150) For the Church, our Holy Father, and our local Ordinary. For the gift of wisdom for our Formators. For our country and for peace in the world.  
23 / August That our religious profession, rooted in the Sacrament of Baptism, may enable us to share in Christ's emptying of Himself and His life in the Spirit. (Art. 150) For our Congregation, our Superiors and for vocations to our Congregation. For those preparing to enter the Church through parish programs. For our benefactors who have blessed our Congregation with so much.  

 
24 / August That formation in our Community may aim primarily at fostering the participation of the religious in the Paschal Mystery whereby, guided by the Holy Spirit, he dies to self in order to live with Christ in God. (Art. 150) For our parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, both living and deceased. For the Anglican Community of the Resurrection. For God's blessing on the people of St. Luis Parish in Waterloo, Ontario.  
25 / August That by our religious profession, effected in and through the Church, we may bind ourselves in a special way to undertake the mission of the Church and to spend our lives in its service. (Art. 151) For blessing on Poland through the intercession of Our Lady of Częstochowa. For those who have recommended themselves to our prayers and for those for whom we have promised to pray. For the "Friends of the Resurrection" and our "Lay Brethren".  

 
26 / August That our formation may be ecclesial, seeking to make the religious conscious of his participation in the mission of the Church and to develop his talents, so that he is able to carry on the apostolate and spread the kingdom of God. (Art. 151) For the grace to imitate our Founders, and for fidelity to our Charism. For parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all those who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For a return to the faith for those who are lapsed Catholics.  

 
27 / August That we may see our apostolic activity, rooted in and joined to contemplation, as belonging to the very nature of religious life; for it is a holy service and work of love entrusted to us by the Church to be carried out in its name. (Art. 151) For all of the Permanent Deacons who serve in our parishes throughout the Community. For a spirit of on-going conversion in all of our members. For the conversion of sinners.
28 / August That in the formation of our religious, according to the tradition of the Congregation, Mary may be presented as the perfect disciple of Jesus and the model of all who are called to discipleship (Art. 152) For the conversion of sinners, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For the Bishops of the various dioceses in which we serve. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.
29 / August That we may imitate Mary's faith, which enabled Her to accept the gift of God's love and to trust that all the promises made to Her would be fulfilled; Her hope, which enabled Her to rely upon the power of the Spirit to form Jesus within Her; Her love, which enabled Her to live a life of self-denial and joyful service (Art. 152) For our deceased brothers and benefactors, for the souls in purgatory, and for him who will die first among us. For our students, teachers and parents as they prepare to begin the new school year. For those preparing for the sacrament of Marriage.  

 
30 / August That we may imitate the obedience and humility of Mary, with the conviction that we will become more perfect disciples of Jesus if we follow Mary, rely on Mary and tend to Christ through Mary. (Art. 152) For fidelity to our religious vows, and for the spirit of the resurrection. For those preparing for their First Communion and Reconciliation. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
31 / August That we may recognize prayer as the very heart of religious formation - we need to be versed in the various forms of prayer, and through time spent in prayer each day, we need to experience a deep awareness of God in our lives. (Art. 153) For the Church, our Holy Father and our local Ordinary. That our Constitutions may become for us a statement of our commitment, a book of meditation and a way of life. For further growth in the prayer life of the entire Congregation.
