Day Intention Prayer
1 / February That the work of the Holy Spirit may be evident for us, in the overwhelming manifestations of God's love and goodness.  (Art. 3) For the Church, the Holy Father and all the Bishops in communion with him. For the sick, the suffering and the dying, and for all those who are lonely. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
2 / February That, in the Congregation, through the profession of vows and chastity, poverty and obedience, we may deepen our baptismal covenant by a life-long commitment to the love and service of our Risen Savior. (Art. 3) For our Congregation and our superiors, especially our local superior. For pastors, administrators and counsellors.  
3 / February That the eternal "alleluia" of the Church's Paschal season may sum up our constant effort to praise the Lord. (Art. 3) For all of the members of our Congregation, for perseverance in their vocation and for vocations. For peace in the world. For the healing of all ailments of the throat on this feast of St. Blase.  
4 / February That we may recognize that the end of our life and work in the Congregation is to give glory to God because He is infinite goodness and love. (Art. 4) For our country, the government and people, and for all civil rulers. For the poor and underdeveloped countries.  
5 / February That, in gratitude for His love and goodness to us, we may respond to God's invitation by our life and vocation, offering Him love for love. "We, for our part, love because He first loved us" (1 Jn 4:19). (Art. 4) For parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all of those who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For the sick, the suffering and the dying. For God's blessing on the people of St. Agatha parish in St. Agatha, Ontario, Canada.
6 / February That, as members of the Congregation of the Resurrec­tion, we may give glory to God by manifesting the presence of the Risen Christ to the world. (Art. 5) For our brothers in the Missions: in Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria and Tanzania. For assistance in our efforts to exercise a preferential option for the poor. For continued blessing on Rev. Antonio Motyka, CR, Regional Superior of the South American Region on the anniversary of his election to service in the Community.  
7 / February That, in order to manifest the presence of the Risen Christ to the world, we may strive for our own personal sanctification by accepting Christ as our model and by living a life of ever greater union with Him. (Art. 5) For the conversion of sinners, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For catechumens preparing to receive the sacrament of baptism. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
8 / February That our life of union with Christ may express itself through our union with our brothers in community, and overflow into our apostolic life which strives to bring to completion the establishment of Christ's kingdom. (Art. 5) For our deceased brothers and benefactors, for all of the faithful departed, and for him who will die first among us. For all of the suffering members of Christ's Church throughout the world, that their sufferings may bring them closer to the Lord. For those who were at one time members of the Congregation of the Resurrection.
9 / February That the goal of all who has been called to the Congrega­tion of the Resurrection may be to strive for personal resurrec­tion with Christ in community, and for the resurrection of society. (Art. 5) For increased fidelity to our religious vows and to the spirit of our founders. For perseverance in our vocation and fidelity to our charism. For peace in the world.  

 
10 / February That we keep in mind that our religious profes­sion calls us to perfect our Christian life by following Christ so intimately that we live, die and rise with Him. (Art. 6) For the sick and the aged, and for those who are in any way incapacitated. For those who are experiencing problems with their vocations. For God's blessing on the people of St. Scholastica Parish in Woodridge, Illinois.  
11 / February That we recognize that Christ destroyed sin by dying and empowers us to remove sin and selfishness from our lives by dying to ourselves through the generous acceptance of the renunciation implied in the perfect observance of our vows and in the many difficulties and disappointments of daily life which constitute some of the crosses which Christ invites us to carry. (Art. 6) For the Church, our Holy Father, for the local church and for the ordinary of the diocese. For all of those who are considering joining our Congrega­tion. On this Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, we pray for healing of our dearly beloved sick. For the beatification of Fr. Paul Smolikowski, CR.  
12 / February That we will empty and wholly deny ourselves in order that Christ may dwell in us and act through us, and so be able to say with St. Paul: ". . . the life I live now is not my own; Christ is living in me" (Galatians 2:20). (Art. 6) For our Congregation, our general, provincial and regional superiors and their councillors. For our local community and our local superior. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
13 / February That we may recognize that, in order to rise with Christ, we need to be open to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies us and conforms us to Christ. (Art. 7) For postulants, affiliates, novices and seminarians that they may persevere in their vocations. For vocations to our Community.
14 / February That we may share in the new creation, the life of the Risen Savior by our openness to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. (Art. 7) For our country, for civil rulers on the local and national level, for justice and peace. For the jobless, the homeless, the poor and the hungry. For blessing on all the married couples who support the Congregation of the Resurrection in their ministries.  
15 / February That, just as Christ's primary concerns were to be completely dedicated to performing the will of His Father and loving service for His brothers and sisters, so also will these be the animating principles of our religious life. (Art. 7) For our parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all those who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For those who we educated in our schools and parishes.
16 / February That we may always remember that through the exercise of perfect fraternal charity we rise with Christ and give witness to the world that we are His disciples: "I give you a new commandment: Love one another. Such as my love has been for you, so must your love be for one another. This is how all will know you for my disciples: your love for one another" (John 13:34-35). (Art. 7) For our brothers in the missions: In Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria and Tanzania. For those who have asked us to pray for their intentions. For all deceased Resurrectionists.  

 
17 / February FOUNDERS' DAY: For the glorification of our founders in the hearts and minds of all Resurrectionists, and for fidelity to the charism and call which we share with them. For our Community, in thanksgiving to God for blessings received, and asking continued blessings. For our living and deceased benefactors. For vocations to our Congregation. For the beatification of our Founders and Fr. Paul Smolikowski, CR.
18 / February That we may honor Mary as God did when he chose Her to be the mother of our Savior, recognizing Her as the mother of the Church and of our Congregation and dedicating ourselves to promote Her honor. (Art. 8) For the conversion of sinners, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For the Sisters of the Resurrection and their apostolates.  
19 / February That we may accept Mary as the model of what salvation is for each of us: freed from sin in Her Immacu­late Conception, sharing the sufferings of Her Son as Mother of Sorrows, and raised to a share in the risen life of Jesus in Her Assumption. (Art. 8) For our deceased brothers and benefactors, for all the faithful departed, and for him who will die first among us. For a deeper understanding of the paschal mystery. For our benefactors: in thanksgiving for their continued generosity to the Congregation.  
20 / February That, following Mary as our model, we may learn to share in the passion, death and resurrection of Her Son and so, freed from sin, share in His new life in the Spirit. (Art. 8) For increased fidelity to our religious vows and to the spirit of our founders. For continued interest in the sources of our history and spirituality, and for the work of the Resurrection Studies Commission. For those who have asked us to pray for their intentions.  
21 / February That in its apostolic life the Congregation may share Christ's own mission of teaching and sanctifying, es­tablishing His kingdom in the hearts of people. (Art. 9) For God's blessings on the work of the International Formation Commission. For the members of the various provincial and regional commis­sions. For peace in the world.  
22 / February That in carrying out its mission, the members of the Congregation may always be open to the needs of the Church and society in our times. (Art. 9) That the Holy Spirit may guide our vocational directors in their work, and for vocations to our Congregation. For our Holy Father. For our parents, living and deceased. For our families, living and deceased.  

 
23 / February That, true to the spirit of the Founders, the Congregation may continue to strive for the resurrection of society, especially through the parish and educational aposto­lates. (Art. 9) For the Church, for our Holy Father, for all Bishops, preachers and teachers of the faith. For all the members of our local house. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
24 / February That we may zealously strive to overcome sin, ignorance, injustice and misery, and that our work may help people to experience the hope, peace and joy which the Risen Christ desires to share with them. (Art. 9) For our local community, the superior and all of the members. For a spirit of reconciliation in our personal lives, in community relationships, carrying over into our ministry and shared with the faithful we serve. For peace in the world.  
25 / February That the Congregation may carry out its mission in submission to the Holy Father, holding him in filial regard, and acknowledging him as its highest Superior through the vow of obedience. (Art. 9) For our Congregation throughout the world, for the general, provincial and regional curias, and for vocations. For those struggling with addictions, marital problems, finances and health issues -- for the gift of peace.  

 
26 / February That we may regard the Congregation as a mother who carefully guides the development of our religious life. (Art. 10) For our country, for civil rulers on the local and national level. For the displaced, jobless, poor and starving people throughout the world. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
27 / February That, with a constant sense of gratitude we may strive to promote the welfare of the Congregation by the conscientious fulfillment of our work and by our loyalty to one another, always remaining faithful to the ideals of the Community. (Art. 10) For our parents, relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all those who have recommended themselves to our prayers. For the grace of perseverance in our vocation. For the deceased Resurrectionists.  
28 / February That, as members of the Congregation, we may regard ourselves as religious in the Church and for the Church, and consider pertinent ecclesiastical legislation and directives to be binding in our religious and apostolic lives. (Art. 11) For the conversion of sinners, and for all in affliction, temptation and agony. For Father General and his council, that they may provide leadership in the Spirit, serving as models of living the charism, of openness and trust. For vocations to the Congregation of the Resurrection.  
29 / February That as members of the Congregation of the Resurrec­tion we may regard as the supreme rule of our lives the following of Christ, whom the Gospel presents as poor, chaste and obedient. (Art. 12) That we may seek to know Christ and the power flowing from his resurrection; likewise to know how to share in his sufferings by being formed in the pattern of his death. (Phil 3:10)
