Intention of the day
That we may accept Mary as the model of what salvation is for each of us: freed from sin in Her Immaculate Conception, sharing the sufferings of Her Son as Mother of Sorrows, and raised to a share in the risen life of Jesus in Her Assumption. (Art. 8)

For a deeper understanding of the paschal mystery.
