As a religious community born in the environment of the laity, we have the objective of helping each person to discover the power of the Holy Spirit working in the sacraments of Christian initiation, and we invite all to be involved in responsibility for the mission of the Church. We acknowledge the important role of the laity in the Church’s life, and we seek to listen to their voice with fraternal concern, taking into account their desires, points of view, experience and competence. Recognizing the specific ministry of the laity in the service of the Church, we encourage their freedom of action and initiative, and we provide opportunities for their continual religious formation.
Part of our tradition is forming associations of lay people who live the Resurrectionist charism and mission according to their state of life. We seek to make the presence of the laity in our apostolic work a hallmark of genuine collaboration: the laity working with us in true communion with the Church.
