The task titled "Museum at the Convent of the Resurrectionists in Rome" of an investment nature, aimed primarily at the proper preparation in terms of quality and functionality of the premises of the museum of the General House of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ operating in Rome. The museum in the renovated space - concerning the exposition of the history of the General House of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ and its role in nurturing Polish national and cultural values abroad, as well as the fate of representatives of Polish culture during the Great Emigration. Presenting history as well as monuments and heritage values (including paintings, church apparatuses, books) related to the activities of the Congregation of the Resurrection of Our Lord.
The project pursues the following statutory objectives of the Polish National Foundation:
a) supporting activities in the field of culture and education
b) sustaining and disseminating national tradition, cultivating Polishness and developing
national, civic and cultural awareness
c) to disseminate at home and abroad the knowledge of the history of the Republic of Poland
d) shaping and promoting patriotic attitudes
e) promotion of the Republic of Poland abroad
f) protection and promotion of cultural property and national heritage
g) promotion of Polonia and Poles abroad.
